Learning to make pie crusts and scones from a master Southern baker is one of our tour options.

For the past decade, a culinary renaissance has been taking place around Myrtle Beach. Local chefs are reshaping traditional recipes to fit 21st century tastes.

The Grand Strand, which encompasses a 60-mile span from Little River down to Georgetown, is historically known for fresh local seafood, rice, grits, sweet potatoes, peanuts, peaches, berries and a fresh produce season that starts in early spring and continues well into fall.

The Food Syndicate offers a way to experience and learn about the unique Coastal Carolina Cuisine through Grand Strand Culinary Tours. Our tour guides will teach you about Spaniards and Huguenots, Revolutionists and Patriots, and slaves and plantation owners, and how Grand Strand cuisine was shaped because of them.

We have a variety of tours from a simple traditional lunch in Myrtle Beach to a walking culinary adventure in Historic Downtown Conway. Please note that participants must be ambulatory for the walking tours.

Our tours are designed to accomodate motorcoach and other large groups.
